- PT. Sona Topas Tourism Industry Tbk. was incorporated
in 1978 and is in the business of providing domestic and
international travel related services.
- The Company became a public listed company in July
1992 when it made an initial public offering and
currently, all its 331,200,000 shares are traded on the
Jakarta Stock Exchange.
- To
meet the shopping needs of the international traveler,
the company set up two subsidiaries, PT Inti Dufree
Promosindo (IDP) in 1990 and PT Arthamulia Indah (AMI)
in 1993.
- IDP
and AMI have a cooperation agreement with Duty Free
Shoppers (DFS), the leading network of duty-free stores
in the world.
- These two subsidiaries now operate 9 duty-free stores
throughout Indonesia and have a combined retail space of
9,012 m2.
